Real Property Tax Payment Reminder

This is just a friendly reminder for all you property-owning people out there to go ahead and pay your taxes while it is early. Most LGUs offer a substantial discount for advanced payment, sometimes as much as 20%!

I am quite impressed by how easy it is to do your property taxes for Quezon City residents. It is quite literally over in a few clicks (and maybe a few extra steps, like opening your phone's camera to scan a QR code, depending on your preferred payment method). Everything is accessible online, and the payment options are very flexible too. Once you have already paid, a scanned copy of the official receipts will be sent to your email address. I believe you are then able to pick up the physical copy of your official receipt at your convenience.

In Iloilo, while it is not as convenient as the QC payment workflow, they do have satellite payment offices in malls that serve as one-stop shops for business taxes, permits, and real property taxes.
